Book Description:

Free people need arms. Without effective small arms to defend against criminals and bad government actors, regular people are left only to be victims. The 20th Century was one of population disarmament leading to oppression, victimization, and genocide. The only effective way to combat the progress of criminals on an individual or mass scale is with the most effective easy-to-use tools: Firearms.

Of course, political extremists on the Fascist and Communist sides rightly expect their subjects to occasionally object to oppression, starvation, and death, and so must remove any means to resist. Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler, Mugabe, Amin, and others all made population disarming an early and important part of their political action. It's happening again in South Africa, but the popular government is using criminals as the means of genocide against unarmed undesirable locals and western tourists.

If a person is interested in saving people in Darfur or anywhere else, ARM THE OPPRESSED against their enemies. What would a Janjuweed milita man do if every woman came out of a hut and fired on him with a pistol? Flee, or die. This is the cheapest thing for western countries to do, as the USA gave French Resistance fighters a pistol to get a rifle from a German soldier, a pistol in a mothers hand saves a life in East Africa.
