I read all the time and so many books are poorly written. Almost all sports books are loaded with stats that no one cares about but it fills up the pages when the author really never talked to the athlete in the first place. This isn't one of those books, and really does give you a lot of incite into the real guy that Phil Mickelson is.
I'm going to wait a month and then read it again it was so good.
Don't ever let your kids grow up to be like Tiger Woods who's a great golfer, but an AWFUL human being. Phil shows you that you can be genuinely good at being a man, father, golfer and husband all at the same time.
I'm proud of golf and the people like Phil that make it about character and goodness and a sport with class and dignity still, unlike the other sports that are full of thugs and criminals and little spoiled kids running round in men's bodies. I'm ashamed of sports today, but still like what golf stands for, and the beautiful human beings that still stand for something that play the game.
Let your kids read this and expose them to what we should all be like. Really good book.
