Tropical Fruits and Other Edible Plants of the World: An Illustrated Guide

I love books about the fruits of the world, and this is the best one I've found it. It's all single page per fruit with a great picture of the fruit, which is a format that works quite well. It's got around 250 different fruits listed in addition to tubers and herbs, which is way more than most books like this. I've found far more fruits I'd never heard of in here than any other source.

This Institute of Medicine committee was pleased to assist the Congress with this review, in part because the committee saw in the VHA example an opportunity to understand and anticipate problems that all publicly funded p...

Mindful Spontaneity: Lessons in the Feldenkrais Method

I bought this book as a replacement for one that was burnt in the northern California wildfires last year. It was on the reading list for my Feldenkras course, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in maintaining a healthy, painfree body. Ruthy Alon herself is a much loved member of the Feldenkrais community.

The Pocket Encyclopedia of Healing Touch Therapies

Even after reading countless books over the years on numerous forms of healing systems I immediately loved this book (The Pocket Encyclopedia of Healing Touch Therapies by Skye Alexander and Anne Schneider) the second I began reading it. This 303 page hardcover volume is nothing short of fantastic. A lot of books on healing methods claim to be easy to apply and use; however, they often wind up being complex and impractical. This flaw...
