Uneven bio of Olivia deHavilland that contains some errors. For example on page 91 Yakima Canutt did not save Scarlett from the rapist on the bridge - he WAS the rapist. It was "Big Sam" who saved Scarlett. And on page 303 the author said that John Huston was 98 when he passed away when he was actually 81. The interviews with Olivia and others were well done and did provide information that was not available elsewhere, especially on the relationship between Olivia and her sister, Joan Fontaine. However, I did feel the author was not quite sure when the Golden Age of Hollywood ended - was it the mid 50's or early 60's - he seemed to waver. I would recommend the book to anyone interested in the life of Olivia deHavilland who is one of the last survivor's of Hollywood's Golden Age.
